All Landlords | Important Hearing On Rent Freeze Extension Happening Today in Downtown LA

To all landlords in the City of Los Angeles, an important hearing is happening today at 2:30 p.m. at City Hall & Council Chambers in Downtown LA.

Rents for RSO units have been frozen for 3.5 years, theoretically due to COVID-19, during the greatest spike in inflation in America since the 1980s and are not currently scheduled to rise again until March of 2024.

The LA City Council Housing Committee is meeting this afternoon to discuss extending the freeze for another six months (Summer 2024).

Your attendance is important. As landlords, you know the costs for repairs, maintenance, and insurance have increased year-over-year.

The hearing details are below if you wish to attend and show your support and represent LA landlords.
