Recognized for his expertise in multifamily investments in Los Angeles, Neema is the Senior Managing Director of Investments at Marcus & Millichap and the Director of The Neema Group.
Buoyed by two decades in the business, Neema is committed when it comes to client experiences and strategic when it comes to their bottom line. He is a relationship builder, a marketing expert, and a problem solver for clients no matter their situation.
Leonardo takes a big-picture approach to helping clients. As an investment associate, he is skilled in assessing buildings and understanding their potential (and a seller’s options). From his own history of managing apartment portfolios, he advises clients on repositioning their investments and growing their wealth.
Sean Nami is a Senior Investment Associate at Marcus & Millichap specializing in the sale and acquisition of apartment buildings. With a strong background in multifamily management and brokerage, Sean’s clients appreciate his understating of the challenges investors face, along with the transaction process as a specialist in the 1031 exchange. Sean attributes his success to a combination of his expertise of the submarkets, rigorous work ethic for each transaction and a consistent open line of communication with his clients. By executing a meticulous and tailored marketing plan with his clients goals in mind, Sean has quickly built a reputation of maximizing returns and value. Sean earned dual degrees from the University of California Irvine in Political Science and Business Administration.
Land & Development
Iman began his career in real estate handling Los Angeles land acquisitions for a leading infill multifamily developer. During his tenure, he gained an acute awareness of the overlay of the city as well as the development/entitlement process. Iman then joined The Neema Group, out of a realization that there was a substantial demand for owners of underutilized property to have competent broker representation.
Having both development and brokerage experience coupled with an undying work ethic, Iman utilizes his understanding of development to maximize value on behalf of his clients in every transaction. His vast insight coupled with his attention to detail ensures that his clients’ expectations are consistently surpassed. Iman graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development from the Price School of Public Policy.
Director of Operations
Brendan serves as the Director of Operations for The Neema Group. He helps guide the team and clients throughout the entire process of each transaction from initial underwriting to the close of escrow. Prior to joining The Neema Group, Brendan graduated from the University of Southern California and has many years of brokerage experience in working with multiple product types of commercial real estate.
Neda is The Neema Group’s Transaction Coordinator, and is often the first point of contact for those meeting the team. As a Los Angeles native, Neda understands the different aspects that effect the areas of this vast city. This knowledge, ultimately, has allowed her to master her role and her interactions with clients.
Regional Manager (Marcus & Millichap)
Tony Solomon serves as Marcus & Millichap’s West Los Angeles office regional manager. He originally joined the firm in 1998 as an investment property specialist, and became a sales manager focusing on the LA market in 2000. He is also a feature-length film screenwriter and member of the Writers Guild of America, West.
Vice President of Capital Markets (Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation)
Dan is a Vice President of Capital Markets with Marcus & Millichap’s Capital Corporation, responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types. He is well connected with national, regional, and local funding sources such as agency lenders, commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds, and bridge lenders. Dan regularly assists clients of The Neema Group with all their financing needs through the acquisition process and refinancing of debt.
Sebastian Martinez specializes in the acquisition and disposition of multi-housing properties. Equipped with three years of experience, he has represented multiple buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of multi-housing properties.
Having been exposed to apartment management at a young age, Sebastian gleaned valuable insight on the challenges faced by many owners and investors. This early exposure provided him with the necessary experience to offer creative solutions and investment options. Sebastian’s transaction experience includes seller and buyer representation, 1031 tax differed exchanges, and repositioning strategies.
Sebastian Martinez attended California State University Chico where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
