Updated Allowable Rent Increases Under the Tenant Protection Act

Since August 1, 2022, the maximum rental increase for properties under the statewide Tenant Protection Act (AB 1482) has been 10% (5% plus CPI). However, effective August 1, 2023 to July 31, 2024, the maximum allowable rent increases has adjusted to the following:
